Pastor Brian Cooper
Ministry: Pastor Brian Cooper has always felt called to ministry. He became a minister in March of 2002 serving under who is now Bishop John Wynn of the International Church Fellowship (I.C.F.). Over the years he has served faithfully in Music Ministry, as a Sunday School Teacher, and as a Youth Pastor. Pastor Cooper was ordained as an Elder in March of 2010 under his Pastor, Superintendent James E. Allen, and has served as his Assistant Pastor as well as the Youth Pastor at Tabernacle of Praise Ministries. In 2012 Pastor Cooper was selected as the Treasurer of the General Board of the International Church Fellowship.
Pastor Cooper’s passion is to help others see God’s potential in themselves and become leaders in Christ. Pastor Cooper has been married to his wife Annette for 14 years and has five children. Having overcome challenges of his own, Pastor Cooper feels that his life purpose is to reconcile families and promote healthy family as designed by God, and to empower individuals to find purpose and new direction for their lives in Christ. This has lead to the development of New Direction Christian Center where he now serves as the Senior Pastor.
Education: As a graduate of University of Phoenix with a Master of Science degree in Counseling / Marriage Family and Child Therapy, Brian is currently pursuing licensure in the state of California as a Marriage and Family Therapist. He is also a graduate of Liberty University and holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology and Christian Counseling.
